Some Traditional Forms Of Expression Are Already Being Threatened With Extinction As People Mostly Youngsters Prefer Modern Predominantly Western Cultural Forms. As Africans We Need To Proudly Excel In Expressing Ourselves In Our Own Values And This Is What Vusa Wants To Achieve. At The Same Time We Cannot Turn A Blind Eye To The New Forms Of Expression As They Also Bring About New Avenues And Prospects For The African. Musically It Is Thus Essential To Come Up With African Musical Genres That Will Comply With International Standards And Be Able To Appeal To People Across Races. Music Is And Has Always Been A Unifying Factor Around The World Bringing Together People From Different Backgrounds Races Ethnicities And Of Course Traditions. It Is Through Music That People Get To Know And Understand Other Cultures And Develop A Liking To Adopt Into That Culture. There Is More To It Than The Sung Words As The Dances And Expressions Used Also Communicate A Lot About Our Culture. One Notable Thing About Vusa Is That He Has Worked With People From Across The Board. He Has Taken Part In Various Music Festivals And Workshops In Africa Europe And North America. Through Music Vusa And His Colleagues Have Managed To Showcase Their Culture To Thousands Of Their Fans Around The Globe Thus Eliminating Certain Stereotypes That People Have Had About Africa. Vusa Has Performed And Conducted Workshops In More Than 500 Cities In 20 Countries And Is Still Counting.
