Ainda Em 2012 A 5 Seconds Of Summer Desenvolveu Sua Música Com Christian Lo Russo E Joel Chapman Membros Da Banda Australiana Amy Meredith Que Participaram Do EP "Somewhere New". Este EP Foi Produzido Por Joel Chapman E O Primeiro Single Chamado "Out Of My Limit" Recebeu Mais De 100.000 Visualizações Nas Primeiras 24 Horas. Alguns Meses Depois Embarcaram Em Uma Viagem De Composição Para Londres Onde Trabalharam Com Artistas Renomados Do Cenário Pop Rock/pop Punk Como Os Membros Da Banda Good Charlotte Joel Madden E Benji Madden.
