The Special Deliveries Are A Four Slice Band From Hilversum The Netherlands. They Mix All Kinds Of Tasty Flavours Like Reggae Ska Punk And Surf With A Little Twist Of Funk. They Love To Grill It Mix It Shake It Stir It Or Heat It Up And They Top It Off With Fresh And Positive Lyrics And Are Now Ready To Serve! It All Started In The Long And Hot Summer Of 2010. The Weather Was Amazingly Good And We All Went Swimming Together And Had Many Shrimps On The Barbie-Times. Lennard Elway Designs Owns A Small Boat Called The Baco Boat So We Also Were Chilling On The Water A Lot! Coen CRS Customs Owns A Really Awesome '64 VW Bug And Our Other Koen With A K Koens Customs Owns An Old VW T3 Campervan He Uses For His Surf Trips. So We Started Sharing Our Passion For VW's And Started Cruising The VW's Together. During These Summer Days We Became Really Close Friends. We Somehow Found Out That Koen Played Drums And He Told Ciske Ex-Guitarist Of The SunFireSouls And Tattoo Artist At Tattooshop Hilversum That He Had A Ludwig Drum Kit In Green Sparkle With A 24" Kick 10" Snare And Zildjian A Custom Cymbals Already Set Up In His Own Rehearsal Studio. Koen Told Ciske That He Really Loves The Vintage Sound Of Fender Guitars & Amps. Ciske Was Like "No Way" That Will Work! He Has Always Played Fender Tele's And Also Loves The Sound Of A Fender Twin Amp So That Was A Match Already. Lennard Has Always Enjoyed Playing Guitar And Singing. He Had Jammed With Ciske On The Acoustic Occasionally After Skateboarding So We Decided That We Should Start Jamming This Winter And Play Reggae Dub To Heat Us Up And To Keep The Awesome Summer Vibe Going. Coen Immediately Said He Would Start To Learn "slappin' The Bass" And Bought One. On October 10th 2010 We Started Jamming For The First Time. There Was An Incredibly Good Vibe And We All Had The Same Feeling Energy Connection And Love For The Music That We Played Together. Two Weeks Later We Bought Our Own PA And Right Now We've Already Played Shows With Great International Known Bands Like The SunFireSouls & Jaya The Cat. Skateboarding Surfing Longboarding Vintage VW's Food Loving Life And Staying Positive That's How We Roll. We're Not 'just Another Band' And We Might Not Be The Best Musicians Yet But We Are A Real Band True Friends And We Love Each Other Like Brothers. Together We Are Like Family And There Is A Special Bond Between Us That Enables Us To Write Great Songs With A Really Good Vibe And We Love Playing And Sharing Them. We Always Try To Rehearse A Lot To Get Better And Better And With Every Show Every Experience We Suck It All Up And Use It To Get To The Next Level Because This Is Not Just A Fling This Is Real. We Might Deliver A Simple Message But Everybody Should Never Forget To Enjoy And Love Life Every Single Day! read less
