Claes Corin Grew Up On The Swedish Westcoast Between Helsingborg In The South And Gothenburg Further Up North. Today He Lives In Båstad At The Base Of Swedens Longest Sandbeach. All Throughout His Life He´s Been Into Good Music And It Came Natural To Him Already In His Young Years To Play And Write On The Piano Of His Childhood Home. Most Of The Songs On The Album Came To Life Between The Years 1987-1997. Since -97 He´s Been Busy With His ”civilian” Job And Lately He Hasn´t Had Enough Time For The Piano And Writing. Nevertheless There Are Seeds Growing For More Westcoast Songs For A Future Album... In His Own Words ”I Didn´t Get The Chance To Enjoy And Devour Enough Of All The Good Music That Was Made In The 80´s. Therefore I´ve Recorded My Own Songs And It Feels Somehow Like I´ve Managed To Extend My Favourite Music Decade A Little Bit Longer.” Göran Edman Was Raised On The Northern Eastcoast Of Sweden In The Small Swedish City Of Söderhamn Population 30.000. His Interest In The Vocal Career Started Relatively Late Even Though He Loved Listening To Music. It Wasn´t Up Until His 20´s In The End Of The 70´s That He Took His First Steps In That Direction. Thanks To Yes And Genesis He Started Getting Seriously Interested In Music. Peter Gabriel Became One Of His Guiding Stars But Fate Took Him Into Another Direction. The ”Scandinavian Wave Of Metal” Made Splashes All The Way To Japan And Dan Stomberg Of Madison Introduced Him To The Genre. 1984 He Moved To Gothenburg And Soon Made Himself A Reputation Which Took Him Further In His Career Through John Norum Europe To Yngwie Malmsteen On The Other Side Of The Atlantic Who Just Had Left His Rising Force -89 . He Had Three Hectic Years Of Touring And Recorded Two Albums Before They Parted In 1992. Since Then He Has Proved His Worth As Both A Vocalist And Arranger Through His Participation In Bands Like Glory Brazen Abbot Street Talk Karmakanic XsavioR And Now Corin & Edman. read less
