Triple 8 Aka 888 Were A British Five-Piece Hip-Hop Style Boy Band Signed To Polydor Records. Triple 8 Were Promoted As The British 'N Sync And A Rival To Manufactured Boy Bands Of The Time Such As Westlife And A1.They Had Two Hit Singles "Knockout" And "Give Me A Reason" Which Charted At Numbers Eight And Nine Respectively. Their Album Heavy W8 Was Cancelled And The Band Subsequently Parted Company With Their Record Label. The Album Has Since Leaked On The Internet. Members The Group Comprised * David Wilcox Born August 23 1981 * Ian "Sparx" Farquharson * Jamie Bell Born May 17 1985 * Josh Barnett Born February 2 1983 A Former Member Of Brash A Band That Also Featured Antony Costa From Blue. * Justin "Mysterio" Scott Born April 9 1982 Justin Is Currently In A Relationship With Kimberley Walsh From Girls Aloud They Live In London. In 2004 Band Members David And Sparx Left The Band. David Joined The Rock Group 10 Reasons To Live Signed To Easy Money Records Who Released A Single "Pretty Girls Rule The World". David Left 10RTL In 2009 And Is Currently Working On A New Project. Sparx Continued Writing And Recording. In 2005 Stewart David Macintosh Born April 25 1979 Joined The Group And They Released The Single "Good 2 Go" Which Had Some Success On The Indie Chart. They Officially Split In 2006. Stewart's Solo Career Has Since Blossomed And With His Own Backing Band Is Playing Many High Profile London Gigs Including A Support Slot For Bon Jovi At Twickenham Stadium On 27th June 2008. Single "Turn This Thing Around" Was Due For Release In The Spring Of 2009.
