The People The Poet Are A Indie/alternative Rock Band From Cardiff Wales. Formed In 2008 As Tiger Please They Released Two EPs 'They Don't Change Under The Moonlight' And 'Seasons'. The Band Toured With Kids In Glass Houses Twin Atlantic And Funeral For A Friend. In 2012 The Band Decided On A Change Of Name To 'The People The Poet' Releasing The Song 'Being Human'. Later In The Year They Released The Acoustic EP 'Thank You For Today' As Well As The Song 'Because Of The Blues'. In May 2013 The Band Released Another EP Names '3 Years In Limbo' Featuring 'Because Of The Blues' And 'The Trip' Taken From 'Thank You For Today' . In 2013 They Are Set To Release Their Debut Album 'The Narrator'
