Her Grandfather Is A Singer/guitar Player And Her Father Also Plays The Saxophone. She Grew Up Singing Playing Piano Writing And Often Performed In Plays And With Choral Groups. At Age 18 Her Father Gave Her Her First Guitar A Washburn Acoustic In Which She Taught Herself How To Play. After Discovering She Had A Knack For Songwriting As Well She Hasn't Looked Back. Both Heavily Influenced By The Blues Currently She And Her Father Share Their Love Of Music And Are Taking The Local Music Scene By Storm. They Have Teamed Up With Some Of The Most Dedicated And Talented Musicians In The South East To Form The Pam Taylor Band. This Has Been A Life-Long Dream Of Taylor Who Has Shared The Stage With Such Artists As Los Lobos Debbie Davies Kofi Burbridge Marquise Knox JP Soars Brandon Santini Tommy Castro Nick Moss Jason Ricci Deanna Bogart Jimmy Carpenter Elvin Bishop And Deborah Coleman. Sax Mike Taylor Started Playing The Sax In The School Band At Age 13 By The Age Of 14 He Was Playing Professionally In The Top 40 R&B Band The Ardells. He Is Influenced By Jr. Walker King Curtis And Boots Randolph Among Many Others. After About 10 Years Of Touring He Called It Quits To Focus On Family And Over The Last Five He Has Gotten Back To His Roots The Blues And Is Tearing Up The Stage Alongside His Daughter. Drums From His First Moment On Stage At Age 3 L.A. Freeman Has Had The Rhythm In Him. Raised Around The World Of Dance And Theater The Entertainment Industry Has Been The Directive From Day One. After Stints As An Broadcaster Actor And Dancer He Started To Focus On His First Love....Music. From Local And Regional Bands To Recording And Touring With Some Of The Best National Acts....Bill Pinkney's Original Drifters The Truly Dangerous Swamp Band Mel Melton And The Wicked Mojos Armand Lenchek Chicago Bob Nelson Robin Rogers Eden Brent And Now The Pam Taylor Band...L.A. Has Distinguished Himself As Master Of A Solid Groove And Swings With The Best Of Them. In Addition L.A. Can Be Seen In Alan Alda's Film "Betsy's Wedding" As The Drummer In The Reception Scenes And The New Helene Cordona Chocolat Film "Bedtime Story" As Surprise...The Drummer In The Cocktail Party Scene! Bass Rusty Gilreath Started Playing Bass At Age 14 In Jazz Band At School. Playing In Various Groups Around Gastonia Earned Him A Spot Playing His Summers At Carowinds In Live Shows. He Played In Various R And B And Jazz Bands In College And Has Jammed Or Played With Acts As Diverse As Harry Chapin Merle Haggard Chuck Mangione And The Marshall Tucker Band. His Main Influences Are Carl Radle Stanley Clarke Rick Danko And Ron Carter. No Matter What Style Of Music He Played At The Time His Love Of The Blues Has Always Been The Driving Force And Is Loving Holding Down The Groove For PTB. Lead Guitar Starting At The Early Age Of 15 Tim Betts Was Heavily Influenced By All The Greats Eric Clapton Muddy Waters Robert Johnson And All The Kings. He Joined The Misdemeanors At The Age Of 17 And They Won The Piedmont Blues Challenge And Went On To Represent At The IBCs In Memphis. For The Past 15 Years He Has Toured All Over The World Zydeco Great C.J. Chenier Nabbing A Grammy Nomination In The Process And Playing Major Festivals With Some Of The Most Influential Musicians Of Our Time Such As B.B. King Sting Robert Cray Bobby "Blue" Bland Elton John Susan Tedeschi Double Trouble Steve Earl Peter Gabriel And Lenny Kravitz For Starters. He Just Recently Teamed Up With The Pam Taylor Band Adding A Unique And Seasoned Style To This Up And Coming Band.
