The North America Jazz Alliance Was Conceived By Montreal Producer Peter Maxymych. The Idea Behind “The Montreal Session” Was To Recreate The Club Sound Of Jazz Bands From The 60s And 70s As Well The Dominant Sound Of World Renowned Accordionist Art Van Damme. To Achieve This Maxymych Pieced Together Five World Class Jazz Musicians To Build On Their Inspiration And “The Montreal Session” Was Recorded In The Summer Of 2011 At Studio 270 In Montreal Quebec. The Quintet Consists Of Los Angeles Native Kenny Kotwitz Accordion Steve Hobbs Vibraphone Of North Carolina And Montrealers Greg Clayton Guitar Dave Laing Drums Alec Walkington Bass And John Labelle Vocals .
