On Their First Two Albums The Lineup Consisted Of Biff Smith On Piano Patrick Tregenza On Drums Pete Lips On Bass Stu Reynolds On Saxophone And Brian Stock On Trumpet. Paul Tarantino Replaced Stu Reynolds On Saxophone In 2006. Of Note Are The Hard-Hitting Compositions Of Pianist Biff Smith Which Blend The Quick-Paced Hard-Bop Of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers With A Distinct Melodic Intensity.
