Multi-Instrumentalist Mitch Easter Is Best Known As The Producer Of REM's "Murmur" Album And Releases From Among Others Velvet Crush Pavement Game Theory Marshall Crenshaw Drive By Truckers And The Loud Family. In The 1980s He Was The Principal Member Of Let's Active Who Released Three Albums Of New-Wavey Power-Pop "Cypress" 1984 "Big Plans For Everybody" 1986 And The Harder-Edged "Every Dog Has Its Day" 1988 . Following The Last Of These Three Records His Output Was Restricted To Production And Guitar Chores For A Variety Of Artists. Easter Returned After 19 Years With "Dynamico" In 2007 Picking Up Musically Where His Let's Active Material Left Off.
