Markku "Make" Tommila Is A Singer-Songwriter-Musician From The West Finland Town Of Pori. He Had Been In The Different Bands Since The Years Of His Youth. In The Early 1980`s He Joined The Famous Rock Group Named Purema. Before And After This He Was The Member Of The Band Called Laser. In The Year 1985 He Made With His Own Group Doora Their First EP. In The Next Year Came Their One Remaining LP "Peikkona Läpi Elämän". The Members Of This Band Were Tommila Vocals Guitar Heikki "Hexa" Elo Keyboards Backg. Vocals Antti Simola Drums Rafu Hannu Rainio Bass & Jesse Rauno Wingström Guitar . Yet In The Same Year 1986 Tommila Made His Solo Single "Auringonnoususta Auringonlaskuun". In The Next Year He Recorded And Wrote The Single Named Happy Summer Holiday With Timo Niemi Guitars The Other Singer-Musician-Songwriter From The Same Town Ilkka "Iku" Tukiainen Vocals Antti Simola Drums Matti Simola Keyboards Hannu Rainio Bass Heikki Elo Keyboards Tapio Wallin Guitars Hannu Rainio Bass Markku Penttilä Percussion The Helping Parties Under The Name Amazing Sound Orchestra. Timo Had Been The Visitor In The Solo Single Of Tommila & He Made The Songs For A Few Other Artists Too. Their Second Common Band Was Rio Where They Played More Hit Music Than Rock Stuff. They Became To Trio When Hannu Perälä Recorder/ Mixer From Town Of Pori Came Along. Their Collective Songs "Rakkauden Tiellä" & "Kun Kesä Tullut On" Were Big Radio Hits. "Rakkauden Tiellä" Took Part In The Finnish Trials Of The Eurovision Song Contest. Polarvox Released Their First Album Called Rio. They Did A Lot Of Gigs And They Performed Then On TV Too. In The Same Year Timo Niemi Left The Band Surprisingly And Kustaa Kantelinen Replaced Him. They Also Took Part In The Finnish Song Contest Syksyn Sävel With The Song "Andorra" But Without The Success However. In The Year 1996 They Changed Their Name To Riot And Made A Few Singles. Their Another Single Song Was One Part Of Finnish Trials Of The Eurovision Contest Again. At This Time It Was A Track Called "Pintaa Syvemmältä". Although They Got No Success Still In The Contest. However They Got Success With Their Songs In The Other Area On The Radio. Songs "Pikku Juulia" And "Käsi Kädessä" Were Minor Hits. The Both Of Those Songs Were Contained On Their New CD Named "Pintaa Syvemmältä" Which Was Released Under The Label Audiovox. In The Year 1998 They Stopped The Common Activity. In The Same Year Make Formed The Make & Hatzi Harri Hyllinen Duo. In The Year 1999 He Made A New Record Deal With Sony Music And Soon He Got A New Radio Hit With A Tune Called "Tarujen Tiellä" And In The Autumn The Syksyn Sävel Competition Was Hold And He Performed There His Song "Onnenpoika" But Without Success Again. The Radio Stations Took That Song Willingly To Their Playlists With His Other New Tunes "Jää Mun Vierellein" & "Nämä Kesäyöt". Those Songs Were Contained On His Album "Tarujen Tiellä" Which Was Released In The Same Year. Tommila Has Written Also Songs From The Other Finnish Artists & He Has Worked As Background Musician/ Singer Too. In The 2000`s He Has Made Two Solo Albums More "Kirje Hesasta" 2004 & "Matkalla" 2006 . Riot Recorded A New Music After The Long Break In The Year 2007 Too In The Shape Of The Single "Rakkauden Ruhtinaat". The Album And The Common Gigs Belonged To Their Plans Then Yet But At Least Their Deal With The New Record Company MTG Hasn`t Continued In Spite Of The Inspired Start. Tommila Continued Making The Gigs Like Riot`s Other Members Too Till The Summer 2013 When Finally Saw The Daylight The New Single Tune Hyppää Tyttö Kyytiin Which Has Gotten Much Airplay. Riot Is Currently Its Own Record Publisher And As The Second Single From The Upcoming Album Rakkautta Kanssani Tee Is Released On 26th Of September.
