Gluecifer A Norwegian Hard Rock Band Based In Oslo Formed In 1994 And Became Prominent Within The Scandinavian Hard Rock Scene Alongside Turbonegro And The Hellacopters During The Late 1990s And Early 2000s. Throughout Their Career Gluecifer Released Five Studio Albums Before Disbanding In 2005 Only To Reunite In 2017. Their Album "Ridin' The Tiger" In 1997 Released On The White Jazz Record Label Marked A Significant Breakthrough Both Artistically And Commercially Positioning Them Among The Leaders Of The Scandinavian Hard Rock Movement. "Basement Apes " Their Fourth Album Signed With Sony Music And "Automatic Thrill" Became Their Best-Selling Record. Gluecifer Performed At Notable Events Such As The 2004 Quart Festival Opening For Monster Magnet. However The Band Announced Their Breakup In July 2005 Despite Being Considered One Of Norway's Successful Rock Bands. Their Impact Extended Beyond Music With Contributions To The Norwegian Film "Izzat " Featuring Their Song "Desolate City" On The 2008 Compilation Album "Kings Of Rock - Best Of And Rarities." Following The Breakup Members Pursued Individual Projects Including Captain Poon Forming The Band Bloodlights In 2006. Gluecifer's Music Was Also Featured In The Soundtrack Of The Film "The Social Network" With The Song "Black Book Lodge." In 2015 Gluecifer's Studio Albums Were Re-Released On Captain Poon's Label Konkurs Productions. The Following Year Captain Poon Toured As The Guitarist For Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg.
