Glitterball Vegas Was A Glasgow Band Formed In Late 2001. They Recorded Their Demo In July Of 2001 -- 'Diamond Rings & Voodoo Dolls' Which Featured Jack D. Heavy Eyed And Tee Ah Millatoonah. Combining Different Aspects From The Music They Each Loved Jim Stuart Kevin And James Created A Sound That Was A Lot Different To What Was Out There. Taking The Riff Rock Element Of Pearl Jam The Swagger Of Bands Such As The Afghan Whigs And Masters Of Reality And Adding It To The Dynamics Of Tool And Metallica Ensured That They Made People Notice. After Several Gigs The Style Of Song Writing Began To Evolve And The Band Recorded Their First Collection Of Songs. The 'album' Highlighted The Dynamics Of The Band The Music Was Heavy At Times But The Vocal Harmony And The Lyrics Were Anything But Aggresive. The Subject Matter Included Surreal Tales About Training To Become The Saviour Of Mankind In Some Bizarre Ode To Japanese Fiction And Wizard Of Oz 'Poison' The Failings Of A Superhero 'Fall Of A Superhero' And The Mumblings And Struggles Of An Ambitious Yet Depressive Painter Stuck In Purgatory 'Dancing Cats On Polaroid' . However Failing To Take Full Adantage Of The Buzz That Surrounded Them Cracks Began To Form By Mid 2004. The Signs Of Stress Were Beginning To Emerge Within The Band. While Beginning To Feel Less And Less Enthusiastic About The Songs They Had And Several More Ambitious Efforts Remained Unfinished Due To The Conflicting Styles -- The Two Last Songs Played By The Four Were 'Ladies And Gentlemen' And 'Senorita'. In 2005 The Band Seldom Entered The Studio Together Kevin Had Joined 'Southpaw' Ex-Guesthouse Trio Dave Bernie And Matt And Was Later Joined By Vocalist James.
