Writing Credits Writing Credits For The Song Were Originally Attributed To Its Singer Frankie Lymon And Record Producer George Goldner. Goldner's Name Was Later Replaced By Morris Levy When Levy Bought Goldner's Interest In Gee Records The Teenagers' Record Company.
