Eskobars Portorož Slovenija 2008 - Today. Eskobars A Band From Primorska Was Formed In 2008 And Originally Composed Of Jure Lesar Singer And Guitarist Bogdan Sojič Drummer And Rok Druscovich Base Player . Recently Teo Colori A Renowned Slovene Guitarist Joined Them As The Fourth Member. In 2009 When The Band Won The Competition ItakDžafest And Played On Stage With A Famous Band The Killers They Attracted Full Attention From The General Public. This Success Led Them To Become A Support Act In Both Concerts Of Plavi Orkestar At Hala Tivoli In Ljubljana. In 2010 At Mars Festival They Shared The Stage With One Of The World’s Famous Alternative Bands Skunk Anansie A Croatian Band Urban&4 And A Slovene Band Dan D. ‘Escobars’ Released In 2010 Is A Self-Titled Debut Studio Album Which Featured 10 Original Tracks In Slovene Including Their Most Popular Songs Such As‘Girls From Klagenfurt’ ‘Cosmo Blues’ ‘Sobotne Noči’ Saturday Nights . It Was Not Only The General Public Music Critics Renowned Slovene Composers And Musicians Who Were Thrilled With Their Music But Also Dejan Radičević A Music Producer Who Was In Charge Of The Production Of Their Debut Album And Neisha Who Wrote String Arrangements For Some Of Their Pieces Of Music/ Compositions/ Songs. An Interesting Combination Of Music Genres Light-Hearted Original Lyrics As Well As Their Charisma Make Them A Pretty Unique Band In Slovenia. Since The Very Beginning Jure Has Worked Primarily On His Own Ideas And By Means Of His Remarkable Talent Created A Couple Of Original Songs. Initianally All The Lyrics Were Written In English And Only Later Translated And Modified Into Slovene Retaining Their Playful Joyous Character Typical Of Their Music. Their Stage Performances Always Loaded With Energy Juvenile Enthusiasm And Inspiration Have Turned Them Into A Rising Star In Slovene Music Scene. At The Moment Eskobars Are Busy Working On Their New Studio Album With Several New Fresh Alternative-Indie-Blues-Rock Songs In Slovene All Of Them Composed By Jure Lesar ‘spiritus Agens’ Of The Band Bogdan Sojič And Other Members Of This Young Band From Primorska.
