Frogtoon Music - Song Info: Wintertime For Ladybird

Wintertime For Ladybird Was Recorded During Several Sessions Between 2010 And 2012. The Song Was Originally Written By Darius Yavorski Sometime In The Early Nineties. It Was First Named "lost In A Dream." Darius Wasn't Satisfied With The Original Version And It Was Put On The Shelf For More Than A Decade. In 2005 A Spell Of Inspiration Found Darius Pulling Dusty Compositions Off The Shelf For Reworking. After Adding A New Intro And Experimenting With Reggae And Jazz Feels In The Verses He Decided To Completely Rewrite The Lyrics. Darius Struggled To Come Up With Lyrics That Met Up With The Music Until He Ran Into A Website Of Mother Goose And Other Old Nursery Rhymes. In The End The Lyrics Were Heavily Inspired By Nursery Rhymes So Much That Whole Lines Can Be Traced Back To Mother Goose. Darius Feels That This Song Plays A Part In The Way Music And Storytelling Keep These Age Old Lessons Alive.
