Andreas Diemann Was Born In Dortmund Germany In 1976. He Started Playing Keyboard Instruments At Age 10 And Remains Largely Self-Taught On The Instrument. Since The Late 1990s He Has Been Recording His Own Music In A Home Studio Playing Keyboards And The Occasional Bit Of Guitar Programming Drum Parts And Singing. Diemann's Style Is Heavily Influenced By 1970s Progressive Rock Particularly Genesis' Output Of The 1970-77 Period. Some Influences From Heavy Metal 1970s 'Krautrock' Electronica And 1980s Indie/Gothic Rock Are Also Detectable. The Songs Tend Be Centered Around Layered Keyboard Parts Accompanied By Acoustic And Some Electric Guitar. The Sound Character Is Predominantly 'vintage' With Keyboard Sounds Prominently Used In The 1970s Such As Acoustic And Electric Pianos Hammond Organ Mellotron And Analogue Synthesisers. read less
