The Story Begins With Kevin O'Toole And Patrick Jensen Who Met On A Primus Message Board. Kevin Played Drums And Patrick Played Bass And Guitar. They Started Creating Songs By Recording Themselves And Sending Pieces Of The Song To Each Other. Eventually Patrick Shared These Recordings With His Friend James Manning And Asked Him To Join The Band. Manning Had Just Begun Writing Poetry And Thought He Could Give Singing A Shot. On May 5th 2012 Fiphsd Was Born. The Trio Wrote A Few Songs And Selected A Few Covers Continuing The Funny Tradition Of Never Playing In The Same Room Together But Sharing Recordings With One Another Over The Internet. By January 18th 2013 The Band Had Already Progressed Enough With Recording To Make 30 Singles Containing An Early Mix Of The Song Green Men And A Demo Of The Song Closed Out Which James Manning And Patrick Jensen Passed Around At A Show At The Canal Club In Richmond VA. After A Year Of Officially Being A Band Their First Record Was Finally Released On May 20th 201 To Mostly Positive Response. On April 26th 2013 Guitarist And Friend Of Kevin O'Toole Tyler Kinney Was Welcomed Into The Band As Lead Guitarist. The Band Is Currently Working On A 4 Song Cover EP And Their Next Full Length Record And Hoping To Someday Hit The Road And Play Some Shows. read less
