There Are At Least Two Artists Called Abhorred 1 The First ABHORRED Have Been Around Since 1999 Formed In Dubai U.A.E. The Formation Came About From 2 Bands SPYNE Thrash Metal & ESKIMO DISCO Power Metal – Winners Of Battle Of The Bands In 1999 At Dubai Collage. The 2 Bands Merged Into One Power Which Is Formally Known As ABHORRED. It Originally Started Of Being 3 Guitars Drums & Vocals. The Different Influences That Were Bought To The Band Made A Remarkable Impact On How The Music Compositions Was Made. Being From Diverse Backgrounds & Listening To Different Types Of Music Played A Huge Role In The Way The Music Was Written. ABHORRED Found A New Sound & Direction... A Beast Was Created! ABHORRED Wrote The First Song In Early 2000 Called “Structures Of Madness” And Participated At The Battle Of The Bands In 2000 At The Aviation Club. The Reaction Of The Audience Was Extraordinary Some Were Shocked Some Bewildered & Other Just Stood There With Their Mouths Wide Open Trying To Figure Out What Hit Them As ABHORRED Was The First Death Metal Band To Emerge From The UAE And The First Band To Play Such Heavy And Technical Music That Set A Standard In The Scene. Fans Started Emerging As Soon As We Got On The Stage. The Following Began! At This Point ABHORRED Consisted Of Sword Of Death Guitar Mort Guitar Baphomet Vocals Primthorpe Guitar & Bathore Drums . This Line Up Played A Few Shows & Wrote The Material For The First E.P. The Beginning Of 2002 Saw The Departure Of Sword O Death To The UK & Soon After ABHORRED Stumbled Upon Beast The Bassist. Finding Rami Completed The Pack & Bound The Music In A Fascinating Way. Later On That Year Moe Left The Band To Continue His Education In The UK. The Band Had To Move On.... Primthorpe & Baphomet Are The Only 2 Remaining Members Of The Horde. ABHORRED Was One Of The Founders Of The Metal Scene But Have Remained Underground. We Are Still Recognized As One Of The Top Dogs In This Region & Plan To Be Around For A While. To Date ABHORRED Have Composed 9 Tunes Slamming Tunes For An Album That Still Does Not Have A Release Date. Lots Of Changes Were Made During The Recording Of The Album Musically & Lyrically Almost All Of The Opening Riffs Were Changed As Some Of The Material Was A Bit Out Of Date To Modernize Our Music We Had To Update Songs & Be Innovative For A More Crushing & Vigorous Sound That Suited Our State Of Mind. The Band Was Always Moving Around None Of The Members Resided In The Same Country For More Than 6 Months So The Music Writing & Composition Was A Disturbingly Slow Process Hence The 9 Tunes In The Last 7 Years. Baphomet Moved To The UK In 2004 So Did Primthorpe & Bathore. They Were All Is Different Parts Of The UK So The Band Never Found The Time To Jam Or Gig. Currently Primthorpe & Baphomet Moved Back To Dubai For Work Purposes & Decided To Carry On The Legacy & Bring Forth A New Dimension Of ABHORRED. ABHORRED Have Played Their Hate In Over 30 Gigs In The Middle East Most Of Which Were Headliners Mostly In The UAE & A Few In Lebanon. The First ABHORRED Release Was A 5 Track E.P. Called "THE EMPIRES FALL" It Was Recorded In Dubai In 2002. ABHORRED Sold Over 1500 Copies In The Middle East & Asia We Also Have A Strong Following Worldwide. ABHORRED Have Played Alongside Such Bands As NERVECELL UAE MORGUE UAE NEPHELIUM CAN/UAE OATH TO VANQUISH LEB WEEPING WILLOW LEB DIADEM LEB JULIANA DOWN UAE & Many Others….. Currently ABHORRED Are Working On The Recording & Production Of A New 4 Track E.P. It Should Be Ready By Early 2008. 2 The Second Abhorred Formed In Lowell Massachusetts In 2003 Featuring Ex-Disrupt And Noosebomb Members And Played A Mash-Up Of Blackened Death Metal Grindcore And Speed Metal. They Released A Full Length Wallowing In Utter Chaos 2005 And EP None Shall Be Spared 2007 Before Disbanding Quietly.
