Random Killing Formed In 1984 More As A Joke Than A Real Band. They Were Just Going To Jam A Few Times But Ended Up Writing A Few Cool Songs And Thought They Might As Well Play A Few Shows. The Original Name Of The Band Was "Roy's Comrades" At The Time Most Their Songs Were Political So The Name Worked On A Local Level Roy McMurtry Was The Attorney General Of Ontario. The Song "Roy Sees Red" Was All About Him. After A Year Or So They Took The Name "Random Killing" Because Of Anti-War Songs Anti-Hunting And Drunk Driving Etc They Had. Random Killing Is A Punk Rock Band From Toronto Ontario Canada Who Were Assembled Initially As A Joke In 1984. Their Original Name Was Roy's Comrades Which Was A Nod To Roy McMurtry Attorney General Of Ontario At The Time. After Writing A Few Decent Songs The Band Decided To Record And Stay Together. In 1995 Their Song "12 " From Thoughts Of Aggression Raw Energy 1994 Was Re-Recorded By CBC Studios House Band And Released As A Video To Sesame Street. Releases
