For Me DjRum Is One Of The Most Exciting Producers To Come Out Of UK Electronic Scene In Recent Years. While His Releases Are Fairly Few And Far Between He Makes Up For It With Pure Production Talent. With Many Of His Tunes Clocking In At A Good 6 Minutes Or So Rum Has The Unusual Skill Of Being Able To Incorporate Several Musical Genres Into The Same Track. Much Of Rum's Work 'Mountains Pt. 1' For Example Has A Strange Haunting Organic Feel About It. With Beautiful Atmospheric Breakdowns Folk Melodies And Film Samples Being Common Traits.
With All Of Rum's Productions Being At Such A High Quality Its Difficult To Recommend Individual Tracks To Bag Luckily He's Got Such A Small Back Catalogue You Can Easily Buy All His Releases. However If I Had To Pick The 9 Minute Epic 'The Darkest Hour Is Just Before Dawn' And 'On The Road 2010' Would Be Top Of My List.
