Formed In 1969 They Were Extant For Five Years Touring With Traffic The Supremes And B.B. King 1 And Headlining Area Venues On Their Own. 2 Somewhat Unusuallly For A Rock Band Swallow Included A Horn Section So There Were Initially Eleven Members In The Band. Band Members Included Vern Miller From The Remains Who Wrote Most Of The Band's Songs And Blind Blues Singer George Leh. Swallow Released Two Albums On Warner Bros. Records. Their First Album Out Of The Nest Released In 1972 Included A Contribution By Jeff Baxter On One Song "Come Home Woman". 3 Another Album Swallow Followed In 1973. Both Albums Were Re-Released On CD In 2010 On Wounded Bird Records. Swallow British Band Swallow Were The British-Based Duo Of Mike Mason And Louise Trehy. Signed To 4AD They Only Released One Studio Album And One Special Remix Collection Before Leaving The Label. They Moved On To Rough Trade Records For A Further EP Before They Disbanded. This Band Is Shoegaze Dream Pop. Swallow Seattle Band Known For Their Volatile Personalities Seattle Band Swallow Came Together In 1987. The Group Consisted Of Rod Moody Aka Rod Ho On Guitar And Vocals Andy Scheen Aka Andy Springsheen On Bass Chris Pugh On Guitar And Scott Schickler Aka Guitar On Drums. From The Beginning They Experienced A Variety Of Problems Including Breaking Down Three Times On Their First Tour In 1989 Causing Them To Miss Shows In New Mexico Texas And California. Then There Were Other Moments Of Misadventure Such As The Time Moody Drank A Large Quantity Of Tequila In The Middle Of A Hot Summer's Day In Dallas While On Tour. He Wound Up Unplugging His Guitar In The Middle Of A Song Unable To Plug It Back Into His Amplifier. The Majority Of Their Trouble Was With Their Label Sub Pop Which Released One Single And Two Full-Length Albums By The Band Between 1988 And 1990. read less
