In July Of 2005 “Vedan Kolod” Won The Prize As The Best Russian Folk Band In The International World Music Festival “Ustuu-Huree”. At The Summer 2007 In The Biggest Russian International Ethnic Festival “Vedan Kolod” Was The Best In The Nomination “Ethno-Experiment”. “Vedan Kolod” Has Recorded Two Cd’s “Plemena” “Tribes” And “Tanec Leshih” “The Dance Of The Wood Spirits” . In A Repertoire Of “Vedan Kolod” There Is A Traditional 3-Voiced Women's Singing. All Songs Played Without Any Electronic Processing With Just “life Sound”. Ensemble Of Slavonic Ethnic Music “Vedan Kolod” Has In Its Repertoire And Author's Songs Stylized As Folklore With Real Historical And Legend Material. The Repertoire Of “Vedan Kolod” Has Two Parts 1. Author's Songs Some Of Them Have Ancient Russian Language Texts Named Staroslavyanskii Yazyk And Musical Compositions “Plemena” “Se Bo Yashete” “The Horse With Wings” “Grey Bird” “Horomy” “Perun” “Wolf” And Other. 2. Authentic Folklore Songs Collected And Got From Villages And Old People During Folklore Expeditions. There Are Songs “Kukuvica” “On The Field” “Chernyi Machek” “Pigeon Book” “From Those Dark Forestes” And Other.
