After Years Of Study And Investigation Into Many Of The World’s Philosophies And Religions She Learned Amazing And Wonderful Techniques Including Silva TM RV And Reiki. After Searching The USA To Find The Perfect HPS And Finding Her Michelle Attained 3rd Degree HPS In The Early 90’s. The Tradition She Learned Was A Blend Of Faery Dianic With A Native American Slant. Michelle Has Been Teaching A Very Select Few Talented And Remarkable Individuals For Several Years To Carry On The Tradition. Michelle Has Concluded "All Spiritual Paths Have Different Scenery And Different Experiences Awaiting The Dedicated Path-Walker But Each Path Eventually Leads To The Same Place. It Is The Nature Of Life." At This Time In Her Life Her Original Music Focuses On The Nature Of Deity And The Sacredness And Celebration Of Life. I Wanted To Expand The Meaning A Bit By Creating An Atmosphere Of Music That Expressed A Trance Like Inner Weaving And Unity With The Elements And The Divine Self. I Wanted To Give An Example Of The Ancient Phrase "As Above So Below". And So Along With The Trance Like Quality Of The Chant I Added The Sounds Of The Earth From Outer Space. Yes The Sounds You Hear Are Not Birds And Frogs And Other Things They Are The Sounds Of Earth As Recorded From Outer Space. These Sounds Were Recorded By University Of Iowa Instruments On A Variety Of Spacecraft Over The Past 40 Years.
The Specific Recording I Used Is Called The Earth Chorus Chorus Waves In Earth's Magnetosphere Are Generated In The Van Allen Radiation Belts By Electrons Spiraling Along Earth's Magnetic Field Lines In This Region. Once Generated The Chorus Waves Interact With The Moving Electrons Disturbing The Spiral Orbit Of The Electrons And Causing Them To Fall Into Earth's Upper Atmosphere Along The Magnetic Field Lines. Chorus Waves Consist Of A Rapid Succession Of Intense Ascending Tones Rising In Frequency Over Very Short Time Intervals Each Tone Lasting Typically Less Than One Second. The Frequencies Of These Rising Tones Occur In The Audio Frequency Range And Sound Like A Dawn Chorus Of Chirping Birds A Sound Which Gives These Waves Their Name. Earth My Body is a traditional Chant, and beautiful however it is preformed. I wanted to expand the meaning a bit by creating an atmosphere of music that expressed a trance like inner weaving and unity with the Elements and the Divine Self. I wanted to give an example of the ancient phrase "As above, So Below". And so, along with the trance like quality of the chant, I added the sounds of the Earth from outer space.
Yes, the sounds you hear are not birds and frogs and other things, they are the Sounds of Earth as recorded from outer space. These sounds were recorded by University of Iowa instruments on a variety of spacecraft over the past 40 years.
The specific recording I used is called the Earth Chorus, Chorus waves in Earth's magnetosphere are generated in the Van Allen radiation belts by electrons spiraling along Earth's magnetic field lines in this region. Once generated, the chorus waves interact with the moving electrons, disturbing the spiral orbit of the electrons and causing them to fall into Earth's upper atmosphere along the magnetic field lines.
Chorus waves consist of a rapid succession of intense ascending tones, rising in frequency over very short time intervals, each tone lasting typically less than one second. The frequencies of these rising tones occur in the audio frequency range and sound like a dawn chorus of chirping birds, a sound which gives these waves their name.

Now, with all that technical explanation behind us… it comes down to the surprising sounds of the Earth herself -like the life forms we hear through the active seasons of spring, summer and autumn… as we hear on the surface of Mother Earth, in the quiet of the night. Her voice!
