A College Junior And Avid Singer/songwriter Jake’s Performing Exploded Two Years Ago When He Began To Play Several Live Shows Throughout North Carolina. The New Disc Reflects His Experiences Of College Life And Welcomes A Heightened Level Of Crisp Honest Songwriting. Growing Up Jake Always Enjoyed Working With Music. After Attending Church Conferences And Being Inspired By Music Leaders He Taught Himself To Play The Guitar And Began Writing His Own Secular Material. Working With Singer/songwriter And Good Friend Sam Hensley Jake Recorded Two Demos The Primarily-Acoustic Speckled Horizon In The Winter Of 2002 And The Full-Band Next Station In The Spring Of 2004. Combined The Two Demos Sold Over 200 Copies. Jake Travels Throughout The Carolinas Several Times A Year Playing Shows And Loves To Connect With Friends And Strangers Alike Through His Music. Often Present In The Local Music Circuit Of Wilmington He Plays At Coffee Shops And Bars On Campus Events As Well As Local And Regional Festivals.
