Taken From The Album H20 This Track Is A Cover Of A Song Originally Written And Recorded By Mike Oldfield From His Album Five Miles Out Although It Was Sung By Vocalist Defacto Maggie Reilly The Song Is Aledgedly About A Man Being Propositioned By A Prostitute. According To An Interview In 1998 Oldfield Wrote All Of The Music For The Chorus And Verses Were Written By The Other Writers. Tim Cross Has Also Claimed To Have Written The Majority Of The Lyrics For The Song And Cited Rick Fenn As The Inspiration Of The 'family Man' Mentioned In The Song.
The Hall And Oates Version Has A Slightly More Rockier And Edgy Feel.
