Head Of Light Entertainment Are A Four Piece Self Styled "odd-Pop" Band From North East England. They've Released Three Albums Via Band Leader Carl Green's Own Northern Round Square Records Label. I Am Liberated 2009 The English Don't Care 2012 And Drool 2017 Have Been Very Well Received In The Murky World Of Underground Pop Although They Have Started To Pick Up More Attention Of Late Through National Radio Airplay Courtesy Of Steve Lamacq And Tom Robinson On BBC6 Music. The Band Gig Regularly Throughout The UK And Have Played Venues Such As Dublin Castle London Eagle Inn Manchester Fibbers York Georgian Theatre Stockton And The Cluny And 02 Academy Newcastle . The Band's Original Bass Player John Taylor Left In November 2018 And Has Been Replaced By Steph Hooton Who Brings An Extra Vocal Dimension To The Sound.
