Biografie van de kunstenaar Digital Explosion

Their Passion For Music Came After Being Introduced To Electronic Music From Artists Like Kraftwerk Human League And Depeche Mode. Those Were The First Artists That Gave Them The Boost And Inspiration To Start Making Their Own Music. Their First Songs Were Done Mainly One Synth And A Double Deck Tape Recorder. The First "real" Synth Purchased Was A Yamaha CS40m. Being Only Duophonic Didnt Mather That Much. Second Synth Was A Sequential Circuits Pro One.
Things Changed With The Purchase Of Ensonig ESQ-1 And A 4-Track Recorder. The ESQ-1 Had A Built-In Sequencer That Brought Much Needed Flexibility To Their Music Making. The Possibilities Seemed Endless. Today's Technology With All The Powerful Computers And Complex Software It Seems Strange To Think We Actually Were Quite Happy With What We Had Then. They Do Still Like To Work In A "simple" Way. A Small Setup And Lots Of Imagination. They Never Thought That Their Music Would Be Interesting To A Bigger Audience But Someone Suggested To Them To Put Songs Available On Mp3.Com. That Was In The Year 2000. They Chose The Name Digital Explosion BecAuse They Had Done Digital Music In An Explosive Way. A Suitable Name For Their Music. In The Beginning They Placed 6 Six Songs And Started To Send Messages To Other Artists On Mp3.Com And Asked About Their Opinion Of Their Songs. After A Couple Weeks They Got Really Ecstatic After Receiving Over A 100 Plays. Little Did We Know That It Was Just A Small Step Toward Bigger Things To Come. They Released The Song "Hardcore Symphony" On The 30 Of December 2000 And That Song Made The Beginning To Their Great Success On The Site. Most People Think It Was A Cover Of A Classical Theme Done By A Famous Composer When In Reality The Song Came From A Melody That Was Playing In Tero's Head.... They Chose The Genre Happy Hardcore Techno Because It Had Some Suitable Elements In It. After A While It Peaked To Number 1 On The Happy Hardcore Chart. It Stayed At Number 1 For Over 600 Days. The Only Songs That Pushed It Down From Number 1 Were Their Own Songs In The Same Genre. If They Hadn't Have Released Other Songs In That Genre It Would Have Been Number 1 For Over 2 Years. They Received So Many Emails About That Song And Since People Express Their Interest In Classical Theme Techno They Did Many "covers" Where They Took Some Main Melodies From Famous Songs And Turned Them Into Techno. They Also Did Completely New Songs But Most Listeners Still Thought They Were Done By Famous Composers.
