Biografie van de kunstenaar Adam Calvert

I Was Born In Southeastern Ohio. At The Age Of 2 My Parents Took Me To See One Of Their Favorite Singers Toby Keith. At That Time Toby Was Just Getting Started And They Tell Me I Sang Along To 'Should've Been A Cowboy'. I Joined His Fan Club And Went To His Concerts . Another Favorite Of Mine Was Neil McCoy And I Remember One Time He Signed Autographs For Hours After A Concert But We Didn't Get One As We Were Not In The Fan Club. As We Were Standing Waiting For His Bus To Go By He Opened A Window And Said 'Give Me Something To Sign.' Very Nice. The List Goes On To Colin Raye Whom My Dad Took Me To See At Wheeling Jamboree And Now I Sing At The Jamboree Which Is Truly An Honor. My Favorite Female Singer And Friend Is Donna Fargo. I Would Go Watch Her Sing And Would Give Her And Linda Her Manager A Call Whenever I Was In Nashville. My First Public Appearance Was At The Mike Ward Music Show At The Muskingum County Fair In Ohio. I Sang Tim McGraw's 'It's Your Love'. My Cousin Lynsey Would Sing There And So I Was Determined At Age 5 3 Days Before The Fair That I Would Learn That Song And I Did. That Was The Beginning Of What Has Been The Best Times A Kid Could Have..Singing And Traveling And Meeting People. The Cousin I Mentioned Is 6 Years Older Than Me And We Started Singing Together With The Name 'Cousins'. We Started Out At Benefits To Help People From Flood Relief To Cancer Cystic Fibrosis And Lots More. Lynsey Went To College But Continues To Sing And Is A Great Singer And Entertainer. We Just Loved Helping People. We Traveled Everywhere And Did A Lot Of Things Locally Singing At Fairs Festivals And Special Events. At The Age Of 11 I Sang At The Washington DC Convention Center For A Drug Abuse Prevention Conference Sang For Ohio's First Lady Hope Taft In The Governor's Mansion And Was Performing At Events All Over The U.S. I Performed At The Alabama Theatre Pre-Show In Myrtle Beach Which Was A Great Time. I Opened For Martina McBride At Country Concert And While Doing All Of This I Had Fun At Each Event. At The Fairs When I Was Done Singing I Would Ride All The Rides. I Loved The Plane Ride To Washington And All I Knew Was I Loved To Sing. Living On A Mini Farm I Still Had Plenty Of Time To Ride The 4-Wheeler Have Friends Over And I Loved Fishing And Snowboarding. At The Age Of 12 I Got The Opportunity To Audition For Country Tonite Theatre In Pigeon Forge As A Youth Performer. When They Called And Wanted Me To Be Part Of The Cast It Was A Big Decision To Make. If I Took The Part My Dad Would Stay Home And Take Care Of Things And My Mom Would Go With Me. After Much Thought We Did It. We Stayed There 3 Wonderful Years. When I Outgrew The Part Of Youth Performer At The Age Of 15 I Was In Between A Kid And An Adult So We Moved Back To Ohio For A While . Then I Got A Call About A Show In Chattanooga When I Was 16 As A Featured Performer At The Jukebox Junction Theatre. I Went There To Sing When The Host Got Sick I Filled In And Was Host And Singer At That Show The Rest Of The Year. After That I Moved Back To Ohio And Thought It Was Time To Finish School. I Auditioned For The School Of Creative And Performing Arts In Cincinnati. I Heard It Was One Of The Best Performing Arts Schools In The Nation. At That Time MTV Was Having Auditions For 'Taking The Stage-Season 2' Which I Went To Audition For. I Didn't Hear Anything For Awhile And Since I Heard So Many Kids Auditioned I Thought They Had Filled The Spots. Then One Day We Got A Call They Want Me As One Of The Main Characters. Mom And I Once Again Moved. This Time To Cincinnati. The Show Was Lots Of Fun And The School Taught Me So Much. I Was A Vocal Major But Then Was Very Interested In Piano. I Became Both A Piano And Vocal Major. I Loved How Much I Learned. Also At That Time Met Some Wonderful People From Rue 21 And Became The New Face Of Carbon Elements Cologne Billboard Featured On Times Square I Thought That Was Really Nice. The MTV Show Aired One Season And Then In My Senior Year I Just Tried To Learn All I Could From Mr. Stuckey And Mrs. Weinstein And My Vocal Teacher Ms. Wyant. I Graduated In 2011 As A Vocal Major And Piano Major. I Learned So Much From The Musical Director Of 'Taking The Stage' Dino Meneghin. I Really Started Playing The Guitar More And Writing More And Spent The Summer Of 2011 Writing And 2012 Practicing Piano And Guitar While Writing And Also Giving Lessons To Students Myself. I Also Wrote A Jingle For A Speedway Commercial And Was In A Safe Auto Commercial. I Made Frequent Trips To Nashville In 2012 Working With Writers There. I Have A Lot Of Music For You All To Hear In The Future. I Have Accepted A Position For 2013 In America's Hit Parade At The Grand Majestic Theatre In Pigeon Forge Tennessee. When I Am Not At The Show I Will Be In Nashville Writing And Doing Other Projects. People Have Asked Me If I Want To 'make It' And I Tell Them I Have Because I Have Done What I Love To Do. I Thank My Parents For All The Help These 20 Years Of My Life. I Also Want To Help In The Fight Against Cancer. As One Person Told My Mom It's An Ugly Opponent To People Who Have It. My Grandma Was Diagnosed With Stage 4 Uterine Cancer In 2006. Her Chances Of Living A Year Were Slim. Her Doctors Call Her An Angel Because She Has Done So Well. I Hope The Song I Wrote For Her 'She's The Brave One' Can Help Other People. I Will Sing It At Benefits And Give A Portion Of What I Make To Help Find A Cure. I Know That I Am Just One Person But Every Little Bit Adds Up. To Sum It All Up I Love Music And Listen To A Lot Of Great Singers. My Music Is Diverse But Leaning Toward Country Pop. In My Personal Life I Like Sports Running Working Out And Participating In Events Like The Tough Mudder.
