Funeral Honors Is Independent Rock Band From Russia Moscow That Was Founded By Damon Walker And Michael Rubin N 2008 In Philadelphia USA. The Band Is Comprised Of Vocalist Damon Walker And Guitarist Michael Rubin During Concerts They Are Accompanied By Different Musicians. The Band Released The Debut Album “Bad Dreams Still Mine” In 2009 After Only 3 Months Of The Bands Existence. Originally It Was Thought To Be A Synth-Pop Band But In Time It Grew Up In Rock With Some Synth-Pop Singing Manner. Forming Michael Rubin Met His Schoolmate Damon Walker In Music Store In Philadelphia Where Damon Worked. After A Short Talk It Was Foud Out That Both Of Them Were Playing In Various Bands For About 7 Years And The Conclusion Was That It Would Be Great To Create A Style-Unrestricted Band. Influenced Mostly By Metallica And Depeche Mode Guys Started Making They First Records In Rubins Flat Using A Computer Michaels Gibson Guitar And Stolen Karaoke Microphone. For About 1 5 Month 10 Demo-Songs Were Ready. Two Weeks Later Rubin Introduced Damon To His Neighbor Tony Pab Who Was A Drummer In A Local Metal Band. They..Ve Made A Couple Of Rehearsals Before Damons Friend Heather Packard Joined The Band As A Bass. Soon After They Decided To Make A Couple Of Shows In The Clubs Of USA. After The Performance In Miami Russian Producer Tim Gauf Who Was Really Impressed With Guys Music Immediately Offered Them To Record An Album In His Studio In Moscow. Realizing The Fact That They Are Not Capable Of Recording An Expensive Record In The US Guys Decided To Give Tim A Try. Tony And Heather Never Wanted Music To Become More Then Just A Hobby So They Refused The Journey. Damon And Michael Collected All Their Earnings And Bought Two Tickets To The Russian Federation. Renting A Studio For A Half A Year Was Not Acceptable For The Band Actually They Had No Money At All So They’ve Had To Make A Record Pretty Fast And For Free In Tims “Capitel Studio”. The Whole Recording And Mixing Period Took For About 2 Months And The Album “Bad Dreams Still Mine” Was Ready. The Name And The Message The Name “Funeral Honors” Comes From The Bands Attitude To All Kinds Of Routines.
