There Are Multiple Artists Named The Brat 1 The Brat Was An Underground Chicano Punk Band From Los Angeles CA United States Active In The Late-1970s And 1980s. Combining Reggae East L.A. Formed In 1979 - After A Chance Meeting Between Teresa Covarrubias And Rudy Medina At The Starwood In Hollywood - The Brat Fell Into The Mesh Of Punk Artists And Musicians Straddling Both Sides Of The East L.A./ West L.A. Pop World. They Made Quick Friends With Plugz Guitarist Tito Larriva And X Singer Exene Cervenka Both Instrumental In The Look And Sound Of The Brat’s Debut EP “Attitudes”.
Produced By Tito With Cover Art/lettering By Exene “Attitudes” Found Its 5 Songs Gathering Healthy Airplay At KROQ And Other Hip L.A. Radio Stations. 2 Roger Kitter Born 1950 Is A British Actor Best Known For Playing Captain Alberto Bertorelli In Season Seven Of The British Sitcom TV Series 'Allo 'Allo!. He Also Recorded A Song "Chalk Dust - The Umpire Strikes Back" Using The Moniker "The Brat". Released On The Hansa Label It Entered The UK Singles Chart On 10 July 1982 It Reached A Peak Of Number 19 And Remained In The Chart For 8 Weeks. The Song Was A Top 10 Hit In The Netherlands Belgium And South Africa And Lampooned John McEnroe Complaining About Line Calls In Tennis. 3 The Brat Was A Punk Rock Band From Naples Italy Active In The 1980s. Members Included Fabio Innaro Guitars Vocals Roberto Brin Vocals Bass And Bruno Brin Drums .
