M.E.H. Plays Hardcore With Metal Riffs And Electronic Drums In A Style We Jokingly Refer To As “Space Metal” Because Our Sound Is Pretty Out There And We’re Basically All Nerds. Plus We Just Find It Funny. We’re Inspired By 80‘s Hardcore Punk And Thrash Metal For The Most Part But We Like A Lot Of Different Genres And It Shows. Life Isn’t All Just One Thing All The Time And Neither Is Our Music. Sometimes The Songs Are Funny Or About Partying. Sometimes They're About Social Frustration. Sometimes They Address Serious Topics Like Police Brutality Or Government Ineptitude. We Try Not To Restrict Ourselves To Any Certain Topics. We Got Banned From One Of The First Venues We Played And We’ve Caused People To Walk Out On More Than One Occasion Because Of Our Lyrics. Some People Just Can’t Take A Joke That’s Their Problem Not Ours. We’re Proud To Be A Part Of The Incredibly Diverse DIY Music Scene In Our Home Greenville S.C. And Have Managed To Stick Out Amongst All The Other Heavy Bands In Our Area. This Is Mainly Because We Play What We Want Not What Will Get Us Booked With The Flavor Of The Week. We’re Not Interested In Being The Tough-Guy Deathcore Band Or A Happy-Go-Lucky Punk Band We Just Like To Play Fast Have Fun And Not Take Things Too Seriously If We Can Help It.
