JINGO DE LUNCH
was A German Punk Band Based In The Kreuzberg District Of Berlin Germany And Was Founded In April 1987. Before They Founded The Band All Of Its Members Had Been Involved In Various Other Projects Tom Schwoll Played In Many German Punk Bands Such As Zerstörte Jugend 1983 . Joseph "Sepp" Ehrensberger Played Guitar For The Berlin Based Punk Band Vorkriegsjugend 1984-85 . Henning Menke And Steve Hahn Also Played In Various Punk Bands In The Early 80s. Yvonne Ducksworth Hailing From Canada Was Involved As A Lead Singer In Two Bands Combat Not Conform And Manson Youth Where She Met Tom And Sepp. Since Manson Youth Was Relatively Well-Known In The German Hardcore Underground Scene They Paved The Way For Jingo De Lunch. Just 3 Months After Their First Rehearsal Jingo De Lunch Released Their First Album Perpetuum Mobile. Jingo De Lunch's Music Is A Mix Of Punk Hardcore And Rock. They Toured With The Ramones Bad Brains And Die Toten Hosen. They Split In 1996 After Releasing 5 Albums. After Jingo Steve Hahn Was Roadie For Die Toten Hosen And Tom Schwoll - After A Short Appearance At Extrabreit - Played For Kumpelbasis And Since 2006 For The Reunited Die Skeptiker. Strating In 1999 Henning Menke Played In Ojo Rojo And Later Joined The Berlin Band Skew Siskin . Sepp Ehrensberger Plays In Bomb Texas. Yvonne Ducksworth Also Acted In The Movie "Trouble" In 1993. From 1996 To 2006 She Lived In Arizona And Didn't Play In A Band During This Period. In August 2006 Jingo De Lunch Played Two Reunion Shows At The White Trash Fast Food In Berlin. In 2007 They Released A CD TitledThe Independent Years 1987-1989 . It's A Collection Of Remixed And Remastered Tracks From Their First Albums Perpetuum Mobile 1987 And Axe To Grind 1989 Plus A Cover Of Subhumans' "Fuck You" Recorded In 1991 To Appear On Berlin Bullets Compilation And The Rare Cursed Earth 12” Released As A Limited EP In 1988 By Bronzen Records. They Also Celebrated Their 20 Year Anniversary With A German And Italian Tour In September 2007.
In August 2008 They Were Support Band For The Stooges' Berlin Concert.
