Iba Andando Got Together In January 2006. After A Couple Of Concerts That Helped The Band Gel They Started Refining Their Own Sound One That's Influenced By Many Bands In The American And Spanish Indie Pop Rock And Power Pop Traditions. The Crew Chose Spanish As Their Language Of Choice As They Feel Their Composition Process Benefits From This Making It Much More Comfortable And Quick. In Their First Year Of Existence Iba Andando Took Part In Several Local Music Festivales Such As Burriana's Cool Music Festival -Sharing Stage With Such Spanish Heavyweights As Boikot Or Delinquentes- Aldaia' S Setmana Barrakuda Or The Very Interesting Incrustados En El Escaparate Indie Fest. They Spent The Autumn Of 2006 To Record Their First Demo In Valencia's Musice Blackout Studios Renowned For Their Great Job With Local Power Pop Talent. This Is "movimiento Interior EP" Five Songs Filled To The Brim With Distorted Guitar Twisted Pop Melodies And Hints Of Conventional Power Pop. The Band Released It On January 2007 And Soon Started Getting Good Feedback On It They Were Finalists In The Circuit Rock De Les Comarques Centrals Demo Competition And Were Also Among The Chosen Few For The Contempopranea Fest Competition For National New Bands. They Also Got To Be Finalists In The Grupo REeelación 2007 Competition Organized By The Viernes XIII Association From Yecla. Iba Andando Spent The First Months Of 2007 Introducing Their Demo To New Audiences In The Best Local Venues Such As Matisse Loco Club Or Black Note. They Also Took Part In The Santa Pop Festival In Granada. They Released "dos" In May 2007 A Cd-Single With Two New Tracks. It Included A Live Staple And Fan Fave Their Very Own Cover Of The Lemonheads' "into Your Arms" Which Has Been Chosen For The Squealing Fans Cover Project An International Tribute Project To Be Edited In The UK By The American Band's Official Fan Club. In June 2007 They Got To Be Finalists In The El Troglogló Songwriting Competition A Renowned Showcase For New Talent In Valencia Also Getting The Special Prize From The Audience.
