Biografie van de kunstenaar Die 3 Besoffskis

The 3 Besoffskis Were A German Comedy Schlager Group That Focused On Mood And Drinking Songs. The Band Was Among The First In Germany To Achieve Success With Coarse Lyrics About Alcohol And Sexual Themes Thus Paving The Way For Later Ballermann Music. The Founder Of The Group Was Helmut Flohr 1931–2009 Who Had Already Released Several Singles As A Schlager Singer And Chansonnier Under The Pseudonym Joe Raphael In The 1960s. In 1970 He Founded The Juventus Label In Baden-Baden And Released Further Recordings Of His Own As Well As Titles By Billy Mo. After 1971 When Tony Marshall Also From Baden-Baden Had A Surprise Success With The Mood Song "Schöne Maid" Raphael Also Switched To Mood Music. For The Adapted Folk Song "Das Leben Bringt Große Freud" Raphael's Lyrics "Doesn't Matter If You're A Hen Or A Rooster" He Engaged The Mood Musician Georg Manning From Nordhorn. The Title Was A Success Selling Around 50 000 Copies. The Subsequent Title With Manning "Rosen Tulpen Und Narzissen" Was Also Successful. Raphael And Manning Performed Numerous Concerts As A Duo In The Early 1970s. From 1973 Onwards Raphael Produced His Own Mood Music Releases As "Joe Raphael Und Die Party-Singers". At That Time Horst Götze The Founder Of The Flower Label Also Joined Them. Together They Decided To Make Mood Music With Coarse Lyrics As A Trio Under The Name "Die 3 Besoffskis". The Blueprint For The Group's Productions Had Already Been Laid By The Title "Scheißegal" Which They Later Re-Recorded Well-Known Folk Tunes Served As Melodies Over Which Coarse And Obscene Mostly Written By Manning Were Sung. The Productions Were Mostly Done In The Bauer Recording Studio. The Pieces Were Often Arranged By Pete Tex And Mostly Played By Joy Fleming's Former Band Hitkids As Well As Brass Musicians From Südfunk Stuttgart. The Distribution Of The Records Mostly Took Place Through Jukebox Providers As The Songs Were Not Very Radio-Friendly. After The Debut Single Of The Besoffskis "Ein Schöner Weißer Arsch" In 1974 "Puff Von Barcelona" Released In 1975 And Based On The Melody Of The Neapolitan Folk Song "Funiculì Funiculà" Became Their Biggest Hit. In The Following Years The Group Released Numerous Singles Following The Same Principle. Raphael And Götze Who Took Care Of Marketing The Records With Their Labels Profited Most From The Business. Meanwhile Lyricist Manning Ran A Pub In Baden-Baden And Fell Out With Raphael And Götze In The Early 1980s For Financial Reasons. Without The Lyricist And Live Entertainer Manning The End Of The 3 Besoffskis Was Sealed. Horst Götze As Horsti Stinkstiefel And Joe Raphael As Joe Raphael Und Die Party-Singers Subsequently Released Some Solo And Duo Singles As Horsti And Joe But Could No Longer Match The Success Of The Besoffskis. Their Labels Juventus And Flower Were Acquired By The Duisburg-Based Label AZ-Records Towards The End Of The 1980s Which Then Released Some More Publications Of The Besoffskis.
