The 3 Besoffskis Were A German Comedy Schlager Group That Focused On Mood And Drinking Songs. The Band Was Among The First In Germany To Achieve Success With Coarse Lyrics About Alcohol And Sexual Themes Thus Paving The Way For Later Ballermann Music. The Founder Of The Group Was Helmut Flohr 1931–2009 Who Had Already Released Several Singles As A Schlager Singer And Chansonnier Under The Pseudonym Joe Raphael In The 1960s. In 1970 He Founded The Juventus Label In Baden-Baden And Released Further Recordings Of His Own As Well As Titles By Billy Mo. After 1971 When Tony Marshall Also From Baden-Baden Had A Surprise Success With The Mood Song "Schöne Maid" Raphael Also Switched To Mood Music. Horst Götze As Horsti Stinkstiefel And Joe Raphael As Joe Raphael Und Die Party-Singers Subsequently Released Some Solo And Duo Singles As Horsti And Joe But Could No Longer Match The Success Of The Besoffskis.
