Halav Hudvash Hebrew For "Milk And Honey" Was An Israeli Band.
The Band Was Created Especially For The Israeli Song Festival Of 1979 By Joining Reuven Gvirtz Shmulik Bilu And Yehuda Tamir With Gali Atari A Known Israeli Singer. The Four Of Them Performed The Song "Hallelujah" By Shamrit Or And Kobi Oshrat And By The End Of The Night They Won The Competition And Were Chosen To Represent Israel And Perform "Hallelujah" In The EuroVision Contest Which Was Held In Jerusalem That Year. In The EuroVision Contest Hallelujah By Halav Hudvash Was Voted For The First Place And Became An International Hit. The Song Was Titled "the Song Of The Year" In Israel And Reached Managed To Reach 5th Place In The British "top Of The Pop". Following Their Success The Four Of Them Continued A Rich Musical Career.
Their First Album Included Many National Hits Such As "Yahad" Together "Galgal Anak" Farris Wheel And "Shir La Shirim" A Song To The Songs .
In 1980 They Were Titled Band Of The Year In Israel And Their Song Galgal Anak Was Titled Song Of The Year. In The Same Year Gali Atari Has Left The Band Due To Financial Disputes With Shlomo Tsah The Producer Of The Band And Was Replaced By Leha Luptin. In 1983 Leha Luptin Has Left The Band.
