Artist Biography For Touch Me Zoo

Touch Me Zoo Is A Band That Started As A Dead Milkmen Side Project In 1990 With Milkmen Joe Jack Talcum And Friend Seven Morris. They Released A Few Self Released Cassettes Such As "Radio Songs" A Parody Of Sorts Of REM This Tape Had The Original Version Of Silly Dreams Later Recorded On The Dead Milkmen's "Soul Rotation" Album A Self Titled Cassette And Wonderwear Music. Later They Became A Full Band With Members Joe Seven John Sokolis And Brian Sprenger. This Version Of Touch Me Zoo Released A Tape Entitled "Moon Dog Must Die " Which Consisted Of Some New Material As Well As Some Remakes Of Earlier Songs. John S. Later Left The Band And J.P. Hasson Took His Place On The Bass. This Incarnation Released The Tapes "Lawn King " And "Blow Up Your Stereo." Differences Between Members Of The Band Eventually Caused Them To Break Up In 1996 And They Released Three Rarities Comps On Cassette After Their Breakup. Joe Jack Later Went On To Play In A Band Called The "Town Managers" With Brian And Then Played Keyboards In The Philly Punk Band "The Low Budgets." He Now Tours As Joe Jack Talcum For Solo Tours As Well As With The Newly Re-Invigorated Dead Milkmen John S. Has Been In Several Music Projects Mainly An Experimental Band Called Sock With Brian. Seven Has Mainly Been Playing Alone And Also Has Joined The Air Force If I Remember Correctly. Brian Went On To The Town Managers And Has Been Involved In Several Other Musical Projects. JP Hasson Toured For Many Years Under The Name Pleaseeasaur And Currently Has A Musical/comedy Project Called JP Incorporated.
