Comprising The Youngest Of A Family With Six Brothers Tompall Born Thomas Paul Glaser 3 Sep. '33 Chuck Born Charles Vernon Glaser 27 Feb. '36 Jim Born James William Glaser 16 Dec. '37 Hail From The Unlikely Town Of Spaulding Nebraska. Initially Starting Out In The Late 1950's As A Popular Country Harmony Trio Ala Louvin Brothers And Everly Brothers Tompall And The Glaser Brothers Initially Backed Country Music Giants Such As Marty Robbins And Johnny Cash Amongst Others. Throughout The 1960's - 70's And 80's They Also Had Successful Solo Careers In Their Own Right. During The Mid-1960s Tompall Made A Name For Himself As Being The Compere At The Grande Old Opry In Nashville Tennessee And He Later Went On To Spearheaded The Outlaw Movement In The 1970s Along With Other Luminaries Such As Waylon Jennings And His Wife Jessie Colter Willie Nelson Kris Kristofferson Among Others. Chuck Was Very Much Involved In The Management Of Their Recording Studio Sometimes Known As "Hillbilly Central" And Was Responsible For Bring The Wonder Of John Hartford To The World And His Hit-Single "Gentle On My Mind". Jim Also Had A Successful Career As A Straight-Up Country Singer And Was Very Popular In The UK Due To His Performances At The Wembley Festivals.
