In The Industrial City Of Pittsburgh During 2005 PROJECT OVERDOSE Began To Re-Engineer The Old Crossover Between Techno/dance And The Scraping Industrial Soundscapes Of A Fight With No End. The Band Has Redefined Themselves With Each New Release By Taking Apart The Things That Make Us Tick And Sewing Them Together Into A New Monsters. Like So Many Great Artists The D.I.Y. Philosophy Takes Hold In Project Overdose. Da.Ga.Lo. The Founder Of Project Overdose Started It Out As An Outlet Of Aggression Not A Side Project And He Has Turned This Into The Engulfing Evolving Entity That You See Before You 2006 There First Album "Disavow" Was A 5 Song Album Which Was Released In May Of 2006 By Overdose Studios 2008 Came A New Album Titled "FUCK OFF" Which Was A Sampler Preview 2009 Brought Us The Release Of The "REVOLUTION" 2009 Was A Busy Year For Project Overdose Not Only Was REVOLUTION Released But A 2nd Album Was Released Called The Soundtrack Of "WAR" 2010 A Best Hits Album "2006 - 2009" Was Released Featuring Some Of The Best Hits Along The Way 2010 With The Permission Of Overdose Studios DaGaLo Wrote The Track "Come Get Some" To Be Released On The Non-Profit Cancer-Fund Compilation "kill Cancer Before It Kills Us" While Doing This DaGaLo Had Begun Recruiting Various Music Groups To Offer Up Tracks For This Cause But Due To Problems With CD Manufactures And Distributors The Compilation Got Shut Down. Front-Man DaGaLo Was Very Frustrated With The Manufacture Backing Out And The Distributor Not Wanting To Budge On The Time Frame Issue DaGaLo Took It As A Personal Jab To Both Him And The Cause. He Was Told By Overdose Studios To Cease And Desist Any Actions Involving This Project. After He Went Home He Wrote The Track "Worth Fighting For" And Made A Copy On CD-R That Said The Track Name And Project Overdose For Everyone In The Office And Paid A Mail Clerk To Have It Sitting On There Keyboard Or Workspace. The Envelope That It Was In Said THIS IS "WORTH FIGHTING FOR" & IF YOU DON'T THINK SO GO HOME AND DIE 2010 After The Incident With The Cancer-Fund Compilation Had Ensued Overdose Studios Thought About Dropping Project Overdose From Its Band Roster But Things Did Get Settled Some How Neither Side Has A Comment On How It Got Resolved But They Kept Them On And Project Overdose Released The Album "Liberation" 2011 Project Overdose Decided To Release There First Full Length Album Entitled "Project Overdose" Which Is There Latest Installment That Has Been Brought Down Upon Us With A Twisted Dream-Scape Of Death War And The Struggle To Survive. It Was Released On 1-1-11 And Contained New Exclusive Tracks As Well As Certain Tracks Spanning Back To Day One 2011 Uprising To Be Released By May DaGaLo Said In An Interview That He Is Unsure Whether Or Not He'll Be Back For Another Album But He Was Quoted As Saying "With A World Full Of Violence War And Degradation How Can One Not Want To Write The Soundtrack To It All." Time Will Tell On Where That Leaves Project Overdose In The Pages Of History
