PRESS RELEASE Parke Davis Is A Four Piece Band Originating From South London. Since Forming In May 2004 The Band Have Recorded A Four Track E.P Entitled "It Came From The Monochrome" And Have Played Several London And International Venues Generating An Increased Interest In The Bands Eclectic Mix Of Songs. THE PROLOGUE Stephen Anderson Finally Talked Brendan Carney Into Serenading Him By Guitar In Late December 2003 After Brendan's Hedonistic 2003 World Tour The Offer Of Creating Expansive Codas And White Noise Finally Sounded Appealing. Each Persuaded The Other To Join An Imaginary Band Which With The Drink-Fuelled Recruitment Of Bass Player Simon Rickards A Stable Line Up Was Quickly Becoming A Reality. They Then Managed To Coerce Barry Lundie Into Banging The Drums For An Impromptu Set One Night. Over A Year Later The Line-Up Remains The Same. Revelling In A Spirit Of Awkwardness And Testing The Boundaries Of Intellectual Property The Band Decide To Name Themselves After A Multi National Drug Company.
