New Way Home Are A Five Piece Melodic Metal Outfit From Auckland New Zealand Formed In 2001 From The Ashes Of Various Metal And Hardcore Projects The Most Notable Of Those Being Day One And Sommerset. Their Style Is A Mixture Of Heavy And Melodic Metal With Elements Of Post Hardcore And Progressive Rock. But They Also Offer Some Softer Ambient Moments To Add Colour Texture And Harmony To Their Aural Canvas. Priding Themselves On Solid Live Performances And Constant Touring New Way Home Are Working Hard To Deliver Well Thought Out Original New Material And Have Developed A Loyal Fan Base In The Process. Their Debut EP "Anomaly" Released In 2005 Consists Of Six Of Their Earliest Works. It Is An Exorcism Of Well Road Tested Songs And Four Years Of Fine Tuning.
