In One He Was Shot By Other Singers That Were Jealous Of Him. In. The Second Scenario He Was Told To Stop Professing His Beliefs In His Songs. Which Apparently Were Against Those Of His Rivals Or He Would Be Killed. Then At Some Point In 2009 The Persons That Made The Threat Kept Their Word. That Is All Know I Never Found Any Information About Where He Grew Up Or Anything Of That Sort. Some Of His Videos On "You Tube" Refer To Him As "shaheed". Shaheed Is An Islamic Term For Someone Who Is Martyred. Video's Of His Son Qari Wahid Chisti Reciting Holy Quran And Performing Qawwal Are Also Available On "You Tube" . While His Voice Is Pleasant Enough Qari Wahid Chisti Lacks The Charisma Of His Father. M.Saeed Chisti's First Album's Came Out In 1995 And From That Time Until He Passed On He Had Produced Was Inline To Become One Of The Great Names Of Qawwal And Fortunately There Are Numerous Recordings Of His Work. So Those Of Us Who Grew To Love His Energetic Style And Sincere Delivery Can Continue To Enjoy The Sacred Music And Learn From The Experience As Can Others Who Have That To Look Forward To.
