Lihkören -- The Linköping University Male Voice Choir -- Stands With Its Feet Firmly Planted In The Rich Tradition Of Swedish Male Voice Choirs. This Has Been The Case Since 1972 When The Choir Was Founded Among Enthusiastic Students At The Institute Of Technology At Linköping University In Sweden. Through The Years The Choir Has Developed Both In The Musical Field And The Organizational. The Singers Are Recruited From All Of The University's Faculties As Well As From Outside The University. Under The Expert Guidance Of Musical Director Hans Lundgren Lihkören Has Established A Reputation As One Of Sweden's Best Male Voice Choirs. Lihkören's Repertoire Spans Over A Wide Variety Of Music In Different Styles -- An Impressive Mix Of Traditional And Modern Music. Lihkören Frequently Tours And Gives Concerts. The Choir Also Constitutes A Permanent Part Of Different Events At The University And In Linköping. Lihkören Has Toured In South Africa USA Jordan Great Britain Estonia And Spain In Addition To The Nordic Countries. At Present The Choir Consists Of Over 50 Strong Male Voices. read less
