Les Soeurs Goadec Were A Singing Trio Of Three Breton Sisters Maryvonne Goadec 1900-1983 Anasthasie Goadec C.1913-1998 And Eugénie Goadec 1909-2003 . Originally From Treffrin Côtes-D'Armor They Began To Perform Traditional Breton Songs At Festoù-Noz Traditional Breton Festivals Of Song And Dance In 1956 And Gained Renewed Fame And Popularity In The Breton Revival Of The 1960s. They Specialised In Breton Songs And Gwerzioù Ballads Or Laments They Also Developed A Three-Voice Version Of The Kan Ha Diskan Call-And-Response Singing As Songs For Dancing. They Stopped Performing In 1983 When Maryvonne Died Though Eugénie Began Singing And Recording Again In1994 With Her Daughter Louise Ebrel. read less
