Kushti Was A Side Project For Erstwhile Black Dog Affiliates Plaid Consisting Of Members Ed Handley And Andrew Turner. They Debuted With The Freestyle EP On The Octopus Label In 1995 Which Established This Project's Output As A Excursion Into Eclectic Sample-Based Music – As Opposed To Plaid's More Familiar Electronic Textures. From Here They Would Release A Couple Of EPs Including Lifers In 1996 And Taking Hold In 1999 Along With An Album Secret Handshakes From Which The Latter Single Was Lifted. Aside From This They Also Supplied A Remix The Method Man Sampling Drop Tha' Joint Remix For Paul Hunter On The 1996 Further Thoughts And Freedoms EP On Soma Offshoot Fith Freedom As Well As A Remix Of Jack By Statik Sound System On Bristol's Cup Of Tea Records 1997 . read less
