Kat DeLuna Born Kathleen Emperatriz DeLuna On November 17 1987 In Bronx New York Is A Dominican-American Singer Songwriter And Dancer. Signed To Epic Records She Sings Songs In Both English And Spanish. At A Young Age DeLuna And Her Family Moved To The Dominican Republic. While There At Age 12 DeLuna Performed On A Stage Where She Was Heard By Milly Quezada Who Commended Her Vocals. However At Age 14 Her Family Moved Back To The United States To Newark New Jersey And DeLuna Attended The Newark Arts High School. She Had Also Attended Benjamin Franklin Elementary In Newark New Jersey And Was Taught By Nicholas Straus. While There DeLuna And Her Friends Formed A R&B Group Called Coquette. In 2004 While DeLuna Was 17 Coquette Opened For A Cassidy Concert In New Jersey. In 2006 DeLuna Chose To Pursue A Solo Career And Was Signed By Epic Records. Her Debut Album 9 Lives Was Released On August 7 2007. It Spawned The Singles Whine Up Run The Show And In The End. Her Second Album Inside Out Was Released In Belgium On November 5 2010.
