The Buda Folk Band Was Formed By Enthusiastic Professional Musicians In 2007 In Hungary. The Members Of The Band Have All Started To Play Together In Music Schools Where Teachers Inculding The World-Famous Muzsikás Ensemble Such As Sándor Csoóri And Péter Éri Were For Best Guidance In Studying Traditional Folk Music. From The Beginning Our Masters Told Us Thats Traditional Hungarian Folk Music Must Be Learned From First Hand From The Villages The Music Lived Once. We've Got Inspiration To Explore Regions Of The So-Called 'historical Hungary' Which Includes Transylvania And Other Regions Outside Of The Hungarian Borders. We Have Found Music Dances And Other Folk Traditions Practised By Natives In Villages Traditions That Were Still Alive. This Is How We Met Authentic Sources Musicians Who Became Our Masters Like The Fiddler Sándor Fodor 'Neti' From Kalotaszeg Or Musicians From The Village Magyarpalatka In Transylvania.
