As A Result He Was Comatose For Several Days And Sustained Severe Nerve Damage Needing Months Of Physical Therapy To Recover. According To Putnam Doctors Had Intended To "pull The Plug" Fearing He'd Spend The Rest Of His Days As A Vegetable.
