Ahmad Fathi Is An Oud Player Singer And Composer From Yemen. He Has Become One Of Yemen's Most Famous Musicians Noted For His Creativity And Brilliance In Playing The Oud. Fathi Was Born In Alhodayda Which Lies On The Coast Of The Red Sea In Yemen. When He Was Eight He Became Interested In Lute Instruments. At The Age Of Twelve He Became A Brilliant Artist In His School. He Was Affected By The Most Famous Oud Performers In Both Yemen And Other Arab Countries Of That Period. After Finishing His Preparatory Studies He Joined The "High Institute Of Arab Music" In Cairo. He Has Been Awarded Many Prizes For Being The Best Lute Performer In Many Festivals All Over The World. In London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall Fathi Successfully Performed His Own Oud Compositions Yemeni And Arabic Songs And Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto De Aranjuez. He Took Part In The Arab Music Festival 1994 1998 In The Cairo Opera House. He Participated In The Arab Oud Festival "Sultanate Oman" In 2005. Fathi Participated In The Doha Festival In January 2006. He Was Honoured In "Sanaa" In Yemen In 2004 And Performed Some Of His Own Compositions For This Occasion.
