Woodie Alien Was Formed In 1998 In Carapachay Buenos Aires Argentina When Three Friends Gathered Together After School To Play Some Covers. In Its Original Line Up We Can Find Rodrigo Quevedo Leandro Vázquez And Nicolás G. Zeppo. After A While They Started Playing Long Improvisations That Were Improved Rehearsal After Rehearsal And That Were Made Public On Parties And School Events. Ridiculousness Contradiction Films Oriental Culture And Their Healthy Obsession With Extraterrestrial Life Forms And Paranormal Phenomena Baptized The Group. With Just One Demo In Which They Registered A Barely Planned Rather Improvisational Set And A Two-Song Single It Took Them A While To Release Something More Serious. When They Finally Did It In 2005 It Was With 2 EPs Composed At Different Times But Recorded Consecutively Electro Roberto And Karaoke. These Albums Now Discovered A Voice And Thick Keyboard Layers Though They Also Had The Instrumental Twist Of The Beginning Of The Band. They Also Continued With The Idea Of Noise Orchestration And Lo-Fi Philosophy And After People's Attempts To Tag And Categorize Their Music They Defined Themselves As "Yoghurt-Rock" And All The Possible Nonsense Variations . Once They Were Released Sebastián Ayala Was Recruited As A Multi-Instrumentalist. When The Time Of Playing Live Came With These Records Released And New Songs Composed And With The Help Of A Few Friends As Guest Musicians The Trio Became A Quintet And Sometimes Even A Six Piece. But In Late 2005 After The Spiritual Quest Of Becoming A Lion Tamer Rodrigo Left The Band Playing Ocasionally Live As A Guest. In 2007 Cristian Cabrera Who Once Was A Guest Musician At The Beginning Of The Band Was Officially Re Incorporated To Accomplish The Duty The Bass Player And Some Other Instrument Once In A While. What Would Woodie Alien Do On Stage Is A Surprise Whether They're Gonna Give Us A Bunch Of Songs In Half An Hour Or Half An Hour In One Song. The Important Thing Is That They're Among Us And They Observe Us.
